Frequently Asked Questions
We're here to help! Browse through the most commonly asked questions to get quick, clear answers.
What is your typical turnaround time?
We aim to complete most orders within 1–2 business days to keep things moving quickly. For larger orders, we recommend checking with a team member for a more accurate timeline.
How do I submit an order?
The best way to place an order is by emailing us at info@morgantownblueprint.com with clear printing instructions. For the smoothest process, we recommend sending your files in PDF format—that helps us get your project started right away!
I need an estimate-- can I get one over the phone?
We kindly discourage phone estimates. To ensure accuracy and allow both you and our team to reference the details later, please email us or use our Free Estimate Form to request a quote. This helps us provide clear, consistent communication and better service.
I have a file on my phone-- can you print it for me?
Our team members can only print files that are emailed to us directly. We cannot receive files via text message or AirDrop. Our staff is not permitted to handle personal devices to assist in file transfers on behalf of customers. Please email your files to info@morgantownblueprint.com so we can process your order in a timely manner.
What is considered a 'print-ready' file? Why am I being charged a setup/design fee?
A print-ready file is a file that’s ready to go straight to the printer, already sized to the correct dimensions, with no adjustments needed. While knowing what you want is a great first step, it isn’t the same as having a print-ready file. If your file isn’t print-ready, we're happy to help! A setup or design fee will be added to cover the time it takes our staff to either design or reformat your file to ensure your print looks its best.
I was asked for a 'full bleed file'-- what is that?
Full bleed means your design goes all the way to the edge—no white borders. To make that happen, we print a little extra around the edges and then trim it down to size.

How to set it up:
Just make your design a little bigger by adding â…› inch (0.125") on each side. So if your final sticker is 4" x 4", your file should be 4.25" x 4.25". Keep important stuff (like text and logos) at least â…› inch inside the edge so it doesn’t get cut off.

If using Canva, simply check the box that says "Crop Marks and Bleed" when saving your file as "PDF Print". This will add the bleed for you!
I have a vision for my design-- can I sit down with a graphic designer to create my design?
While we’re happy to offer consultations to discuss your project and vision, we do not offer the ability for clients to sit with a designer during the creation process. After your consultation, our team will work on your design and send you a proof to review and approve before we move forward with printing.
Do you offer installation for my order?
At this time, we do not offer installation services for our products. For the best results, we recommend contacting a professional installer.
How do I install my vinyl decal?
Clean/Prep the Surface
Wipe the window/surface with glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth to remove any dirt, dust, or grease. The surface needs to be completely clean, dry, and above 50 degrees outside.

Position the Decal
Hold the decal up to the window where you want to apply it. Use tape to hold it in place or mark the corners lightly with a washable marker.

Peel the Backing
Carefully peel the backing paper away from the decal, making sure the vinyl sticks to the clear transfer tape on top.

Apply the Decal
Place the decal onto the window with the transfer tape facing you. Start pressing from the center and work outward to avoid bubbles.

Smooth it Out
Use a squeegee or a credit card to firmly smooth the decal, pushing out any air bubbles.

Remove Transfer Tape
Slowly peel the transfer tape away at a sharp angle, leaving the vinyl decal stuck to the window.
